Dark Angel Lovers Defend Relationship
Posted 24/1/02 Dark Angel co-stars and lovers Jessica Alba and Michael Weatherly have spoken out in defence of their controversial relationship. Alba stars as genetically-enhanced Max opposite her real-life fiance Weatherly as cyber-journalist Logan in the hit Fox Show. The second season of the sci-fi program shows Logan unable to touch Max, due the virus that will kill him,which luckily for Weatherly isn't reality. He enthuses, "I'm up for it. Because I know at the end of the day, I get to go home to real thing."Alba,20 admits her parents were not amused when she first engaged to 33-year-old Weatherly in May this year. She explains, "I'm like their baby girl. I mean, my dad was the man in my life, you know? And now he's not."the cuople has had to fight age sterotypes from the media and public, as they found many dissaproved of their 13 year age diiference. Weatherly says, People always have to make it sound tittllating. She's a minor!' No? Well, she's almost a minor.
